International Festival was in 2004 commissioned to create a new work for Tanz im August in Berlin. The proposal The Welcome Package addressed the concept festival as spectacle and producer of interpersonal performances.
The project draw attention to the performativities specific to festival contexts, through an extended welcome package offered to all guests of the festival (206 individuals). The 18 objects of the package was designed in order to produce a heterogeneous attention to the conventions and economies of festival.
